Does Sitewell integrate with TASS?
Yes. Sitewell connects to TASS through the official TASS API and syncs your General Ledger actuals onto your budget lines. Account codes, FY periods and ex-GST defaults mirror your TASS setup, including multi-campus account separation.
Is the TASS connection safe?
It is read-only and encrypted (AES-256). Sitewell never writes to TASS, so your ledger cannot be altered. Access is granted through a least-privilege, read-only security role that your school creates in TASS and can revoke at any time.
Do we need TASS to use Sitewell?
No. Sitewell works standalone — budget accounts can be loaded from a spreadsheet, and every other module works the same with or without TASS. The TASS connection is optional.
Where is our data hosted?
In Australia (Sydney). Each school is isolated with row-level security, and what your team members can see and do is controlled by per-module permissions.
How long does setup take?
Most schools are up and running in an afternoon. We set your school up with you — locations, assets, contractors and budget accounts. Sitewell is a hosted web platform, so there is nothing to install and no IT project.
Do you support multi-campus schools?
Yes — campuses are first-class in Sitewell. Tasks, calendars, reports and budget drilldowns can be viewed per campus or whole-of-school, and account separation follows how your TASS chart handles campuses.
Do teachers and staff need accounts?
